Looking back on the trip

When I first found out we were going on a trip to New York City to complete an escape room, I was ecstatic and couldn't wait for the time to come. I've never been to an escape room before, and knowing that I'm able to finally go complete one was going to give me a new experience to enjoy. My group consisted of Alberto, Zack A, Joe, Youssef, Jerry, and me. On the bus ride to New York City I sat next to Jerry and we were talking about whether we would be able to make it out of the room or not. I had high hopes for us to escape the room. During the ride we were all discussing whether which groups are gonna make it out or not. When we arrived in New York City, the first place we went to was a food court area named Urban Space. I got a loaded burrito to eat which consisted of eggs, hash brown, cheese, beef, and a whole lot of guacamole (the burrito was fire). After we all finished eating our food, we all walked to Starbucks which was like one minute away. I didn't get ...

Critiquing the movie critique

I love to watch movies a lot. Almost every weekend I load up Netflix on my TV and try to find a movie that I can watch. I also enjoy going to the movie theater with my friends. Being in a video conference with a movie reviewer was very enjoyable to take part in. Seeing how a movie reviewer analysis the movie that they watch and how they critique it is very intriguing. One part I disagreed with her was when she said that the movie "Joker" is almost better than the movie "The Dark Knight". But I mean that's just my opinion.  Listening to what she had to say about some actors for instance when she was talking about Jessica Chastain and how she didn't really like the way she promotes certain things brought to my attention that the world of entertainment isn't such a fr...

My thoughts on the GOAT USA video conference

When I heard that my class was going to speak to a clothing brand named GOAT USA, I thought in my head "Just another ordinary clothing brand". But when we spoke to them I was actually pretty interested in founders back stories on how they met, made the brand, and how they are continuing to expand their clothing brand to reach the millions of people around the world. When I asked why they named the goat "Chuck", they actually gave a detailed response and it intrigued me a bit. I enjoyed the video conference over all and looking forward to future conferences!
